We have discussed enough about the cutoffs/ keys/ wrong answers/ right answers …etc.. Its now time to concentrate on studies for mains.
For this syllabus is of most importance . I have found that syllabus of BPSC is not available on official website of BPSC. So I am uploading syllabus of some of the popular subjects.

yes psychology is a scoring optional. imp is how comfrtabl u r n wat is ur prep level. so if u lyk d sbjct dn u shud continue wth psychology.

psychology is a good subject but not good for selection in BPSC i got paaper1-95,paper2-110 in that appear in interview and finally out,although got 87 in interview.when i m writting mains only 210 peoples are with psycho optional due to that this time i m writting with sociology.i have written well in the paper all questions are repeated one,i think some negative scalling applied in that.ON THE CONTRARY IN PUB AD QUESTIONS ARE TOUGH I GOT-128,131 RESPECTIVELY

yes u r fulfilln d criteria. being b.tech u cn go fr physics, psychology, geography , maths. all dese r scientific bend subjects.
rest on u.. look into syllabus i hv uploaded n decide ur optionals.. fr dt matter u can tk LSW. its short.

can Economics is not a scoing optioal. I am pg in Eco. Doubt arises as some freind says that in bpsc no one selected in eco. from many years. Its a scrap subject. Can u tell me what marks candidate obtained in Eco in last yr bpsc mains exam.

How about philosophy for bpsc? How many qualified last year with philosophy in bpsc . Any idea? Ur blog is quite informative. Good job. Also throw some light on expected cut off of ras/rts mains 2010 as we are in complete darkness. Thnx in advance.
optionals r on indv choice n evry optnal is scoring as per indv. Ras/rts cutoffs wl be similar to last 2008 ras/rts cutoffs.
